Today a better way is to start an online business from home doing niche affiliate marketing. Let's consider why that is a valid statement!

There are millions of affiliates all over the world providing competition for each other. When you target a specific niche you eliminate a lot of that competition. Generally the more targeted the niche the less the number of affiliates you are going to find in it.

Down to Business at Home

Mimi Bell is at her desk at 7:30 a.m. each weekday, hair done, makeup on and wearing business attire.

Karen Scheel heads to her office whenever, wearing whatever, from sweats to pajamas.

Although they dress differently, the two women have one big thing in common: Both run businesses from their homes.

Bell, of Saginaw Township, works as an independent editor and publications consultant.

“If it’s a day I don’t have to run out, or am not meeting with clients, I’m dressed in business casual, usually sweaters and casual slacks,” she said. “I am always in full makeup and my hair is done. On days when I have to run out of the office for an appointment, I dress in business attire first thing in the morning. I wear a business suit, skirts or pants and pumps.”

It’s her belief, she says, that “dressing” for work helps her feel professional.

“Truthfully, I’m a tightly wound person,” she said. “It’s just who I am by nature. For me to do my very best work, I need to present as a professional. If I was sitting in my PJs at my desk I would be thinking of crawling back under the covers.” Read Full Article»
